CATE inaugural Arts Festival and Information Expo - 10 September 2009
The Arts Festival will showcase the opportunities available to young adults with learning and/or social and emotional difficulties. Films, photos, fine art and performance pieces will be on display, demonstrating the power and potential that creativity plays in fostering self-expression, identity development and positive learning experiences for students.
Traffic Laws...are you dying to get there? - 18 May 2009
Holmesglen students have a strong voice in the community. In response to community concerns that too many people have lost respect for road laws and increasingly placing themselves, and others, at risk, a conference will be held to address the dangerous question, "Traffic Laws...are you dying to get there?"
Holmesglen student named National Apprentice of the Year - 21 January 2008
Christopher Lynch, a 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice at Holmesglen, has won the Master Builders Association National Apprentice of the Year.
Regional culinary competition success - 10 January 2008
On Thursday 15 October, the Moorabbin campus 'Greater Melbourne' team won three of the eight awards up for grabs in the LifeStyle FOOD Channel Australian Regional Culinary Competition.
