Overview
This course has been designed to train operatives of the solid fuel industry in the theoretical and practical aspects of installing solid fuel heaters.
Course Fees
The enrolment fee for 2009 is $450.00 per semester.
A separate application and assessment fee is payable to the Plumbing Industry Commission. A separate fee is required for the manual.

Course Structure
This delivery is based on a training module that has been developed so that the practical section can be commenced on any Wednesday evening throughout the year.

Assessment
The PIC conducts two assessments:
Theoretical Assessment
The theoretical section of the course will be assessed by a two hour examination.
Practical Assessment
A practical assessment will be conducted when on request. The student will need to demonstrate techniques, selection, installation requirements and practical aspects of irrigation systems.
