Overview
This course provides graduates with advanced skills required to pursue exciting career opportunities in the field of human resources. Students will develop a skillbase that equips them for roles involving the management of human resources in an organisation.
Qualification & Recognition
On completion of this diploma students are eligible to receive the Diploma of Human Resources.
Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
Course Fees
Fees are calculated according to the level of course being studied, and the number of hours being undertaken, up to Government established maximums. Eligible students are able to access a Government Subsidised Place and certain categories of Full Fee Paying students may be able to access an Eligibility Exemption. Assistance is available in the form of VET FEE HELP or a Holmesglen Payment Plan for students who are unable to afford fee payment up front. - VTAC: Full time. Apply through VTAC. Codes are 61841 or 61844 (Fee type determined by provider).
Course Structure
Students are required to complete 8 units comprising 3 core units and 5 specified elective units.
Please note elective units may vary from semester to semester and depending on whether students complete the Diploma on a part time evening or full time day basis.

Assessment
Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
Career and Further Study Opportunities
Graduates of the Diploma may apply for general middle level management positions in a range of industries or use their qualifications to advance their managerial aspirations within the workplace.
