  • Course Overview

    Learn all there is to know about AutoCAD, with this course comprised of AutoCAD 2D Fundamentals, Advanced 2D and 3D Modeling.

    This AutoCAD online course is designed to allow students who have minimal or no experience to learn the latest techniques on AutoCAD 2016. In a simple step-by-step process, by using video tutorials, you will produce basic to advanced drawings in 2D and 3D, which utilise the latest features, commands and techniques.

    After completing the AutoCAD online course, you will have an in-depth knowledge and develop skills enabling you to work autonomously and productively with AutoCAD.

    You will receive support from experienced trainers and over 22 hours of in-depth video tutorials. After enrolling with Holmesglen, you are eligible to download a free 3 year student full-trial version of AutoCAD 2016 and the latest industry software from the Autodesk community website.

    • Wire frames
    • Surfacing
    • Solids
    • Primitives
    • Boolean operation
    • Producing orthogonal views from solids
    • Section and axillary views from solids
    • Using multiple viewports


    Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests and practical application projects.

  • Requirements

    Recognition of prior learning

    You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
