This course aims to provide pre-employment training and pathways in the engineering manufacturing or related industries, and entry into the wider engineering industry. It will provide you with a range of engineering skills such as computer aided design 2D and 3D, design principles, fabrication techniques and the use of hand and power of tools.
The course is designed to give you the technical knowledge and skills to design and create 3D engineering models using cutting edge software such AutoCAD and Inventor. As a student you will also be eligible to download the software for free.
You will also balance out your technical skills with practical engineering skills by learning how to use relevant engineering equipment, such as a computer controlled plasma cutter.
