    This six-month full time course will help you develop yourability to plan, create, implement and evaluate the marketing activities withinan organisation.

    Planning and preparation are the foundations to any successfulbusiness, Marketing, therefore, the significant cog in a growing company.

    This six month course is your introduction to an industry wherehard work is rewarded with opportunity.

    During your study duration, you will develop an ability to plan,create, implement and evaluate the marketing activities within an organisation.You will also develop a broad range of other essential business skills.

  • Program Structure

    To receive this qualification you must complete 1 core unit and 9 elective units. Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications. If you have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.

    Assessment

    Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.

  • Requirements

    Recognition of prior learning

    You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.

    Prerequisites

    • VCE (ATAR) or equivalent; or
    • Mature age (at least 18 years of age and away from formal study for at least one year).

    Upon successful completion of this course, you will be eligible to receive the nationally endorsed BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business.

    Pathways

    You can progress to the BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication and continue your studies with the BBMM14 Bachelor of Business (Marketing Management).

    The option of progressing through qualification levels will give you the opportunity to build your knowledge as well as your career.

    Which fee applies to me?

    Due to the different level of government subsidy available to you, there are three possible fee levels for program fees – government subsidised, full fee and concession.

    Your eligibility for concession or subsidised program fees is determined by your individual circumstances such as how old you are, what level of education you have and what type of program you want to study. Concession fees are not available for qualifications at diploma level or above.

    The Holmesglen Information staff can help you determine your eligibility and discuss options if you are ineligible.

    How do I pay my fees?

    VET Fee HELP / VET Student Loans is an Australian Government loan scheme that helps eligible students pay all or part of their tuition fees for diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificate and graduate diploma programs.

    Holmesglen also offers a range of scholarships each year which you may be eligible to apply for.

    To be eligible for a VET Fee HELP /  VET Student Loans you will need to meet the VET Student Loans entry requirements.

    Good passes at Year 11 or the overseas equivalent and preferably some relevant work experience,

    And

    English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 (Academic), ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (CB) or 46 (iBT), PTE Academic Score of 42 (no communicative skill score less than 42), Cambridge English: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) of 47 or equivalent.
