    Marketing is about understanding what your clients want andproviding it in a professionally and timely way. 

    Accordingly, this course will develop your ability toformulate, implement and evaluate marketing strategies and how to manage,evaluate and control marketing programs, manage projects and budgets, and managea team.

    Your studies will be supplemented with challenging and relevant projects that will help you gain practical experience and get your foot in the door of this diverse industry.

    Thiscourse is the first step towards your career or the start of further studyoptions.

  • Program Structure

    The Diploma of Marketing and Communication consists of a total of 12 units - 3 core units and 9 elective units, completed over 9 months if studying full time. 

    Students needing to complete the entry requirement units from the BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication can complete these units with Holmesglen as a skill set prior to commencing the Diploma.

    Assessment

    Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.

    Recognition of prior learning

    You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.

    Prerequisites

    • Students are required to have completed the five core units from the BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication for entry into the BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication including:

    1. BSBCMM401 Make a presentation
    2. BSBCRT401 Articulate, digital solutions to work processes
    3. BSBMGT407 Apply digital solutions to work processes
    4. BSBMKG417 Apply mrketing and communication across a convergent industry
    5. BSBMKG418 Develop and apply knowledge of marketing communication
    • Students who have not completed the above pre-requisite units can enroll into a skill set prior to commencing the BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communications.
    • Online students must have their own computer software

    Holmesglen tuition fees shown are all inclusive and indicative of the cost to complete the entire program.

    These are indicative fees only. Your fees will be calculated on your individual circumstances at the time of enrolment.

    Pre-requisite fees

    You will be required to complete 5 pre-requisite subjects before commencing the BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication. The indicative fees for these units are $200 each, totaling $1000 for all 5 units. These 5 units are not eligible for Vet Student Loans.

    Which fee applies to me?

    Due to the different level of government subsidy available to you, there are three possible fee levels for program fees – government subsidised, full fee and concession.

    Your eligibility for concession or subsidised program fees is determined by your individual circumstances such as how old you are, what level of education you have and what type of program you want to study. Concession fees are not available for qualifications at diploma level or above.

    How do I pay my fees?

    VET Fee HELP / VET Student Loans is an Australian Government loan scheme that helps eligible students pay all or part of their tuition fees for diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificate and graduate diploma programs.

    Holmesglen also offers a range of scholarships each year which you may be eligible to apply for.

    To be eligible for a VET Fee HELP /  VET Student Loans you will need to meet the VET Student Loans entry requirements.

    Successful completion of Holmesglen's Certificate IV in Business or Year 12/Matriculation or the overseas equivalent.

    English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Academic).
