  • Course Overview

This subject forms part of a series of online subjects developed to assist learners to design, build, market and host a website in their own time, in a location of their choice.

In UX and UI design, you will acquire the necessary design skills that web designers and developers need. Design principles in relation to layout, interface and the appearance of web pages and other multimedia products will be taught. This is a super fun subject and a lot of our students love it. You will be focused on learning the elements of design (unity, harmony, flow and repetition) while also ensuring that user experience is functional and accessible to everyone.

Additionally, you will gain skills using industry standard software, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, to digitalise your web interface.

Learners will be supported through online technologies which include step-by-step video tutorials, a learning management portal, social media and email.
