  • Course Overview

    This subject forms part of a series of online subjects developed to assist learners to design, build, market and host a website in their own time, in a location of their choice.

    Responsive Design focuses on bringing your website to life by adding in professional touches such as animation and interactive components. Allowing you to take your website design skills to the next level.

    You will be using the technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap 4 in developing the front end UX and UI and to build mobile first responsive user interfaces. The twitter bootstrap framework will be leveraged to incorporate a variety of interactive components and responsive user interface features.

    Learners that successfully complete this subject will have the skills to develop complex responsive UI layouts using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 and enhance the UI user experience using JavaScript and jQuery.

    Learners will be supported through online technologies which include step-by-step video tutorials, a learning management portal, social media and email.

  • Requirements

    Recognition of prior learning

    You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.

    Upon successfully completing this course you are eligible to receive the nationally endorsed statement of attainment.

    Pathways

    Participants may elect to undertake this course as a standalone study option or to combine subjects in order to achieve the nationally endorsed qualification ICT40315 Certificate IV in Web-Based Technologies.
