  • Course Overview

    This course is offered fully online and can be completed in your own time. It is flexible and supported by Web 2.0 technologies. You can choose the units you want to study in the order that you want to study them.

    During this online course you will gain the knowledge and skills to use authoring tool, Adobe Dreamweaver and languages html5, xml, CSS and basic JavaScript required in the web industry. Layout and appearance of web pages will be included as part of your training, equipping you with a skill set to create industry current interactive websites. Additionally, facilitation will take place to assist you in developing web pages according to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards of web accessibility, giving you the necessary skills to design web pages for inclusion of all.

    Learners will be supported through online technologies which include step-by-step video tutorials, a learning management portal, social media and email.

  • Requirements

    Recognition of prior learning

    You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.     • Basic English literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to level 1 Certificate in General Education for Adults

    Upon successfully completing this course, you are eligible to receive the nationally endorsed statement of attainment.
