Holmesglen's events department has been recognised as the winner of the 'Best Education/Training Program' at the 2016 Australian Event Awards. While our staff also includes the 2016 Victorian Training Awards' Teacher/Trainer of the Year.

With events, it's all about the hands on, practical experience. Our students are tasked with the production of the Victorian State Schools Spectacular, held annually at Hisense Arena. Moreover, Holmesglen graduates have worked at events such St Kilda Festival and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.

    Visit us on Open Day to hear about the exciting hands on approach that is Events at Holmesglen. Our students get immersed in volunteering work within festivals & conferences; plan and run not for profit events; and build business relationships with key industry players. At Open Day you'll get to talk to teachers about all the practical skills you need as a budding event organiser. Whether you're thinking of studying at either our Moorabbin or Waverley campus, information in this session will be relevant to you.

    You can also come along to find out more about our VET in Schools course, the Certificate II in Events. Our experienced teachers will provide you with information on how we can support you to successfully complete units towards your Year 11 and Year 12 studies as well as highlight future study pathways and career opportunities.
