Holmesglen and the ETU Announce Scholarships Following Victorian Training Awards Win
Holmesglen and the ETU have announced 10 scholarships, valued up to $500 each, for all new applicants commencing a pre-apprenticeship course in 2018 at the Futuretech campus in North Melbourne.
Holmesglen and the ETU recently won the Victorian Industry Collaboration award at the 2017 Victorian Training Awards for the innovative partnership at the $3.5 million custom-built Futuretech facility.
"The $5000 prize money we received as part of the award will be channelled directly back to the learners at Futuretech and we encourage anyone interested in launching their electrical career through an electrical pre-apprenticeship to apply for one of our Certificate II qualifications via the online scholarship application form at futuretech.edu.au," said Futuretech Campus Manager, Samantha Pledger.
"This opportunity is a great one for anyone that has considered working in the electrical field; it really is a dynamic and in-demand career field with many job opportunities."
Scholarship applications open today and close on 15 December, 2017. Applicants must apply for a Certificate II (pre-apprenticeship) qualification and the separate scholarship application form, which are both available online at futuretech.edu.au.
