Holmesglen Opens New Moorabbin Student Hub
The new student hub at the Moorabbin campus was officially opened by the Minister for Training and Skills, the Hon. Gayle Tierney MP, on 15 June.
The upgraded Moorabbin campus building includes a learning commons, new information office, which will also house the International Centre and Holmesglen Connect, and incorporates and centralises student services and amenities at the campus.
The project was funded by an $8 million grant provided by the Victorian Government.
In her official address, the Minister affirmed Holmesglen as a leading provider of education in Victoria.
"Holmesglen is at the forefront of innovation, giving students access to technology that will advance their training and employment opportunities," she said.
The new student hub follows extensive construction work undertaken at Holmesglen's Moorabbin campus over the past 12 months. In 2017, Holmesglen and Healthscope opened the Holmesglen Private Hospital, the first TAFE-based hospital in Australia.
The new student hub brings to life the vision to improve the student experience.
