Apprenticeships

Holmesglen's industry recognised apprenticeship and training programs combine on-the-job work experience with practical education, training and development. They can provide students with a successful career pathway and are managed by experienced and respected teaching staff.

Preparation Courses

Holmesglen's preparation courses are designed to fill the gaps in preparation for university level study. They are suitable for both school leavers and mature age students.

International

Holmesglen now offers over 600 programs to more than 50,000 students per year, including over 4,000 international students. Many international students add to their learning experience when they get involved in various community based programs offered at Holmesglen.

Language Centre

The Holmesglen Language Centre is committed to providing our students with top-quality education and training. Whether you wish to study English, Chinese, or undertake the CELTA or TESOL course to train to be a teacher, we strive to give you the best service possible all the time.

Holmesglen Vocational College

Holmesglen Vocational College is an exciting concept in upper secondary vocational education. An Australian first, the College offers vocationally based education and personal development programs to students who have completed Year 10 and turned 16 years of age.

Sustainability

Holmesglen is committed to providing our students with an educational environment that takes into account environmentally sustainable design, as well as offering a growing range of courses which embed sustainability skills. Sustainability programs available at Holmesglen include certificate level programs and short courses which are designed to expand a learner's ability to apply sustainability practices.

Flexible Training Centre (formerly Safety & Industrial Skills)

Holmesglen Safety was established in 1990 to provide OHS training to industry and individuals. Our trainers have completed Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training and belong to the Safety Institute of Australia.

Distance Education

Studying off campus through Holmesglen's Flexible Training Centre is an excellent way to bring study directly to your home. This makes it possible to adjust your study and learning schedule to fit your individual requirements. Off-campus students are offered a number of different study options when undertaking or completing a course.

VET in Schools

Holmesglen's school programs are delivered in simulated industry environments and taught by industry experienced practitioners who are qualified in both training delivery and their field of expertise. While all programs are customised for secondary school aged students, the curriculum is drawn directly from the certificate or diploma program on which it is based. This enables students to complement their school based studies with industry relevant training while gaining a head start on tertiary and employment opportunities.
