Holmesglen’s industry recognised apprenticeship and training programs combine on the job work experience with practical education, training and development. They can provide you with a successful career pathway and are managed by experienced and respected teaching staff.
Apprenticeships are paid programs and are usually three to four years in length.

How do I apply?
A training contract must be completed by your employer and you as an apprentice within the first two weeks of employment. An Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC) representative will visit your workplace to complete the training contract. Contact the AAC on 13 38 73 or australianapprenticeships.gov.au for more information.
On signing you will be asked to nominate the registered training organisation (RTO), such as Holmesglen, and we will automatically be notified of your intention to start training. You will then be placed on the notification list and we will contact you when the next apprenticeship group is starting.

When you complete an apprenticeship, you have the opportunity to go on to further study, or perhaps start your own business.Holmesglen offers an extensive range of diplomas and degrees to move your career to the next level.
Build on your training and experience as a tradie with a building degree such as the Bachelor of Building Construction and Economics. Move into hospitality management with an Advanced Diploma of Hospitality. Sharpen your design skills with an Advanced Diploma of Engineering or cultivate your management technique with a Diploma of Horticulture. The opportunities are endless!
