Safety & Industrial Skills
Holmesglen Safety and Industrial Skills provides an extensive range of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Industrial Skills training programs via publicly available programs at several locations and customised company specific programs delivered at your workplace.
Holmesglen Safety and Industrial Skills can also provide OHS and EHS systems consultancy, Health and Safety Management System and/or Environmental System audits.
Our aim is to provide skills and knowledge to enable people to work safely and complement WorkSafe Victoria in their aim to reduce the number of people injured and killed in the workplace.

All our trainers belong to the Safety Institute of Australia and/or other relevant professional bodies to ensure they maintain the most up-todate knowledge in their field of expertise. Our trainers are backed by the extensive resources & infrastructure of Holmesglen.
What We Can Offer
Holmesglen Safety and Industrial Skills offers a range of OHS and Industrial Skills inspection, training and assessment services including:
- Workplace safety inspections & assessments
- Chemical safety ? hazardous substances & dangerous goods, assessment and training
- OHS management systems development and auditing to AS/NZS4801, AS14000 and SafetyMAP standards
- Manual handling training
- Noise training and noise assessment
- Plant and equipment safety inspection, training and assessment
- OHS and EHS auditor training
- Auditing and/or assessment service for SafetyMAP, AS/NZS 4801 Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems. A certification service is available in conjunction with JASANZ certification bodies.

Our Training Locations
Publicly available training programs are conducted at our three main campuses located at:
- Chadstone
- Glen Waverley
- Moorabbin
We also conduct publicly available training programs at Dingley, Tullamarine and in regional locations.
Customised company specific programs can be conducted at the locations mentioned above or in your own workplace. Customised company specific programs delivered on-the-job are great for companies with a number of people who require training in the same topic. The benefits of on-the-job training include:
