Language, Literacy and Numeracy Programs
What is the LLNP?
The Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program (LLNP) is funded by the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) and is offered to job seekers registered with Centrelink offices. The aim of the program is to assist job seekers to improve their language, literacy and communication skills which will then assist them to obtain employment.
What will I learn?
Participants in the program learn language, literacy, communication and basic computer skills. They will be taught to speak with confidence, make basic mathematical calculations, use the computer, write job applications and present themselves for interviews.
How can I apply?
Interested job seekers will need to contact the nearest Centrelink office to be registered. Centrelink will then refer them to Holmesglen Language Centre for training.
