Preparation Courses
These courses are designed to fill the gaps in preparation for university level study. They are suitable for both school leavers and mature age students.
This course covers Units 1 & 2 (Year 11) and Units 3 & 4 (Year 12) of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). VCE is a prerequisite for entry into many tertiary courses. It is suitable for both students who have left school without VCE and are under 20 years of age, as well as mature age students.
Focused on design communication techniques, students study colour, design principles, illustration and 2D and 3D forms to create or enhance their folio for application to further study. Two designs streams will be offered one in 2011, one offering an overarching examination of design and the other with a fashion focus.
Certificate IV in Liberal Arts
Designed to prepare students for further study in arts and/or humanities, this course will suit those who do not have an arts background from previous study.
Designed for students who have an interest in science to prepare for science based further study. No science study pre-requisite.

Certificate IV in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft
Ideal for students wishing to work as an artist, students explore different mediums and art history through ceramics, sculpture, photography, drawing, illustration and painting.
Occupational Preparatory Course
This course is designed for those wishing to develop their test and examination skills, particularly in preparation for vocational entrance exams.
