What is counselling?
A counsellor can support a person by giving them an opportunity to explore their concerns in a private and non-judgemental environment. At Student Services, we aim at working together with students to assist in reducing the difficulties they maybe facing.
Areas which a counsellor can help students include:

Personal Counselling

- Adjusting to student life at Holmesglen
- Family relationships
- Leaving home
- Confidence building
- Solving personal problems

- Adjustment with migration or studying as an overseas student

Talks and Discussion Groups
Student Services staff are available to lead discussions or give talks about:
- Study skills

After-hours Emergency help
Student Services is open on some evenings at the Chadstone Campus during term.
