Working as a Disability Support Worker

Occasionally there are opportunities to work at Holmesglen as a casual Disability Support Worker. Approximately 60 people are employed each year at Holmesglen TAFE to directly assist students with disabilities. A background and/or qualification in the area of disability are desirable - but more important is an awareness of peoples rights and a willingness to learn.

Holmesglen employs Disability Support Workers in three primary roles:

• Note takers
• Participation Assistants
• Tutors
