This year's Recreation and Activities Booklet is your key to finding an abundance of information about the great recreation and sporting program's Holmesglen has to offer in throughout the year. There is a trip or an activity to suit everybody, whether it is an interstate tour, a ski trip, a movie night or a campus band competition. There is bound to be something to suit you, so check out the dates and fantastic prices to plan your recreation calendar.

Our extensive trips and tours program will give you the opportunity to check out some fantastic tourist destinations around Victoria and Australia. Most tours are run on weekends or in the school holidays, so you don't need to miss out on valuable class time. These tours are heavily subsidised by the Institute, which makes them affordable for students on a tight budget.

Holmesglen also offers an unbelievable range of FREE on campus activities each month. These 'Theme weeks' range from 'Cultural Diversity Week' to 'Indulgence Week', they are fun, informative and best of all, FREE. Keep your eyes out for upcoming Theme weeks at your campus, as they offer great entertainment, an abundance of food giveaways and other surprises!

Holmesglen offers a great range of sporting events days and sporting teams. We recommend joining these teams early as there is limited team position's available. You can join a netball, basketball, indoor soccer or indoor cricket team, it's up to you!

Each year a Student Association is formed at Holmesglen. Membership is free and it allows students to meet on a regular basis to discuss issues that affect them at Holmesglen. It also allows you to organise events, whether they be Mid Year Balls, Movie nights or even a Tree Planting Day. This gives you great experience working in committees and allows you to be actively involved in running and planning some great events.
