Professional Year for Accounting graduates (SMIPA)

SMIPA Graduate Ali 

Ali spent up to four hours daily for six months, applying for 1,000 jobs without success.  He quickly became  increasingly frustrated with hearing the same old replies of, "Sorry we are looking for a permanent resident" or "Sorry we want someone with local experience". 

Then one day a friend told him about SMIPA -  a course designed to help graduates who are having difficulties finding a job.

"I started SMIPA in February 2009, and through the course was offered a practical placement in August 2009. The second week into my placement, I was offered an ongoing job with the same company. I can't tell you how happy I am with SMIPA. I highly recommend it!" Ali said.
