Airport Reception Services

Airport reception is included in the fee charged for Institute accommodation and in the Accommodation Placement Fee charged for Homestay, Backpacker and Hotel accommodation. Students arriving in Melbourne who have paid for the service will be met at the airport and transported to their accommodation. This service is only available to students whose accommodation booking has been confirmed by the Institute.

For students who wish to book International House, Unilodge, Claremont Guesthouse or Campuswalk Apartments, airport reception is not included in the fee; however, it can be arranged through Holmesglen. The cost of airport reception in this instance is $160 and is payable to Holmesglen Institute of TAFE together with tuition fees.

All students requiring assistance with airport reception, with accommodation arranged through Holmesglen, MUST inform the Institute of their flight details at least ONE WEEK prior to their arrival to ensure suitable accommodation and airport reception can be arranged. If arrival details are not forwarded well in advance of the arrival date, the Institute cannot guarantee that accommodation can be arranged.

Assistance For Parents

The Institute is unable to assist parents who wish to accompany their children to Melbourne with accommodation arrangements. However, we are able to provide a listing of conveniently situated hotels/motels located in Melbournes CBD or close to the campus. The Institute may be able to assist with airport reception on an individual basis. The cost of airport reception in this instance is $160 per person, payable to Holmesglen Institute of TAFE.
