Holmesglen is an approved education provider to accept recipients of Australian Development Scholarships. Scholarships awarded under these programs form part of the Australian Government's overseas aid program which aims to increase access to education and training for people in partner countries.

Holmesglen is proud to have a comprehensive Scholarship Program available for the benefit of its international students. The program is aimed at facilitating a range of values which the Institute has always embodied. The core values of the Institute are Access; Excellence; Scholarship; Integrity
From 2014, scholarships recognising students' academic achievements will be awarded to current international students to the value of $1,000. The scholarships will be awarded to international students who have studied at least 1 year in a Holmesglen Certificate III program or higher, demonstrated the highest level of academic achievement and an overall personal commitment to their studies.
Selection will be based on applicants' academic transcripts, faculty references, study goals and other relevant personal achievements.

The Australia Awards provide opportunities for people from developing countries to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

Holmesglen is an approved TAFE provider offering VET Diploma/Advanced Diploma courses to Endeavour award holders. Through the joint efforts of the Australian Government and the Department of Education and Training, students now have the opportunity apply for financial assistance from the Australian Government to help with payment of tuition fees and living expenses.
This is an internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program for students from eligible countries.
