Holmesglen offers simulated painting and decorating workshops that exceed industry standards, giving you real hands on experience in world class facilities. With close ties to the industry and a high employability rate, these programs are a great first step towards a career in painting and decorating - no matter what your age.


Visit us on Open Day at 6.30pm for a formal presentation highlighting the unique elements and importance of each of the building trades. Following the presentation there will be a tour across each of the trades workshops with teachers available to answer any specific questions.

The painting and decorating trades include many career possibilities, and can allow you to work in areas such as paint application, timber staining, wallpapering and conventional spray painting. As a painter or decorator you may work on internal or external building, both residential and commercial.
Our courses allow you to develop the practical skills and knowledge needed to prepare surfaces, apply paint through a variety of tools, hang wallpaper and apply decorative paint finishes.
