This six-month full-time course will help you develop your ability to plan, create, implement and evaluate the marketing activities within an organisation.
Planning and preparation are the foundations of any successful business. So marketing is a significant cog in the wheel of any growing company.
This six-month course is your introduction to an industyr where hard work is rewarded with opportunity.
During your studies, you will develop an ability to plan, create, implement and evaluate the marketing activities within an organisation. You will also develop a broad range of other essential business skills.
To receive this qualification you must complete one core unit and nine elective units.
Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications. If you have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards

Apply digital solutions to work processes
Apply marketing communication across a convergent industry
Design and produce business documents
Develop and apply knowledge of marketing communication industry
Develop and use complex spreadsheets
Develop teams and individuals
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
VCE (ATAR) or equivalent; or mature age (at least 18 years of age and away from formal study for at least one year).
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. QUALIFICATION AND RECOGNITION
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be eligible to receive the nationally endorsed BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business.
You can progress to the BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication and continue your studies with the BBMM14 Bachelor of Business (Marketing Management).
The option of progressing through qualification levels will give you the opportunity to build your knowledge as well as your career.
