Studying the Upskilling Plumbers Training Program at Holmesglen

At Holmesglen, this 5-week program is delivered through a HyFlex model, combining self-paced online learning with optional face-to-face sessions at the Holmesglen Chadstone campus. Learning materials are accessed through the LMS and include structured modules, videos, readings, quizzes and forums to support flexible study.<p>Throughout the program, participants receive one day per week (7 hours) of flexible teacher support, providing guidance and assistance as learning progresses. Practical learning is strengthened in weeks four and five through two full-day, face-to-face workshops, featuring teacher-led sessions, industry guest speakers, demonstrations of new equipment and energy-efficient hot water technologies, along with networking and mentoring opportunities.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 18 years old at the commencement of the course.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training, you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability for the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
