The collaboration will deliver a dual diploma in Advanced Programming and Back End Web Development, offering students in Sri Lanka access to internationally recognised training and pathways into further study in Australia.
The official launch event, held in Colombo, was attended by Holmesglen Chief Executive Mary Faraone and Associate Director Global Relations and Partnerships Des Perkins. Dignitaries at the event included the Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, the Deputy Minister of Tourism for Sri Lanka, and representatives from Austrade and Global Victoria, along with key partners and industry representatives.
The occasion also saw Mary Faraone and Kalum De Siva of the Australasian Academy formally sign partnership documents, reinforcing the joint commitment to high-quality, industry-focused education.
While in Colombo, Ms Faraone also took part in the official opening of the Australasian Academy’s new campus — a significant development in the institution’s growth as a leading private training provider in Sri Lanka.
