Do you need help with a child's safety matter?
We have zero tolerance for child abuse, neglect, exploitation, or any form of harm to children and young people. All concerns, disclosures and allegations are taken seriously and responded to promptly, consistently and in accordance with our policies, Child Safe Standards and legal obligations.

How to report a child safety concern at Holmesglen
If you are concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person, you can report your concern to Holmesglen. You do not need to be certain that abuse or harm has occurred before speaking up.
What happens after you make a report?
When a child safety concern is reported, Holmesglen will assess the information and take appropriate action to support the safety and wellbeing of the child or young person.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- Speaking with the person who raised the concern to better understand what happened
- Taking immediate action where necessary to support the safety of the child or young person
- Referring the matter to appropriate Holmesglen staff
- Referring or reporting the matter to relevant external authorities where required
- Providing appropriate support to the child or young person
- Handling information sensitively and sharing it only where necessary for safety, reporting or legal requirements
- Maintaining appropriate records of the concern and actions taken

Child safety information is handled sensitively. Information may need to be shared where necessary to protect a child or young person or meet legal and reporting obligations.
