Celebrating Authenticity and Support for LGBTQIA+ Youth
Join us from August 24-28 for Wear it Purple, a special event dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ young people and celebrating the joy of living authentically.

R U OK? Week
7 - 11 September
In today’s fast-paced world, we often find ourselves so caught up in the hustle of daily life that we forget to check in with those around us—our friends, classmates, and colleagues. R U OK? Day is an opportunity to pause and create a space where we can openly talk about mental health and wellbeing. It’s a day to encourage kindness, support, and connection.
Together, we can make a positive impact and help ensure that mental health remains a priority at TAFE.

Welcome to Trans Awareness Week! Join us for a week full of events celebrating and supporting the transgender community. From informative panels to fun social gatherings, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Come learn, share, and show your support for transgender rights and visibility. Let's come together to create a more inclusive and accepting world for all.
Recreation trips
The student experience often extends beyond our campuses. Our students visit a range of places across Victoria, all at fraction of the cost. Weekends away in Eildon, days snowboarding on the slopes of Mt Buller or soaking in the hot springs on the Mornington Peninsula are just some examples of the experiences Holmesglen students can enjoy. Discover the charm of Eildon with the multi-day trips, offering an exciting medley of activities from indulging yourselves in delicious food, to exploring nature through guided walks, and thrilling scavenger hunts, witness a majestic waterfall, engage in team games and challenges, and unwind by the campfire, making meaningful connections and creating memories that blend adventure, relaxation, and the allure of Eildon’s picturesque landscapes.

Yes, we encourage students to join our student clubs or even help us create new ones. If you want to discuss what student clubs we offer or how to get involved, email our Student Life team at life@holmesglen.edu.au.
Our student trip prices vary, depending on the respective activity. However, ensure our trips are subsidised to help students participate in our activities.
We run activities across all our campuses. While some activities may be campus based, events, such as O-Week, are regularly run at all our campuses.
You can register your interest to join our Student Representative Council by completing our online form.
