Studying the Licence to perform rigging basic level at Holmesglen

Our CPCCLRG3001 Basic Rigging course combines practical training with the safety knowledge required for High Risk Work Licence outcomes in Victoria. You’ll develop hands-on skills in moving and securing loads, installing safety systems and working with structural steel in a supervised training environment. Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, applicants must provide evidence of the following:<br>• Construction Induction Card (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry – White Card)<br>• Minimum 12 months employment experience in the construction industry or a related field<br>• A certified copy of a valid High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – Dogging, or a Statement of Attainment for CPCCLDG3001 Licence to Perform Dogging (or equivalent)<br>• Minimum 3 months employment experience in dogging work<br>• Meet required Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) entry levels
Prior to enrolment you will be required to complete a pre-training review and may be asked to complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
