Studying the Licence to perform rigging basic level at Holmesglen

At Holmesglen, our rigging program provides comprehensive training in essential rigging tasks within our state-of-the-art facilities. Participants will learn to erect and dismantle portal frames, install and remove retaining wall panels, and manage safety equipment such as nets and static lines. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, including using powered winches and cantilevered crane loading platforms. With a focus on safety and efficiency, our program is tailored for those with a dogging ticket seeking to enhance their rigging expertise. Entry Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age<br>• Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)<br>• At least 12 months employment experience in construction or relevant industry <br>• A certified copy of valid HRWL Dogging Licence/ticket or statement of completion of the unit CPCCLDG3001 Licence to perform dogging or its equivalent.
Prior to enrolment you will be required to complete a pre-training review and may be asked to complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
