- This course is part of Worksafe Victoria's Health and Safety Representative training and provides a pathway to the WorkSafe approved HSR Refresher course.
Studying the HSR initial OHS training course at Holmesglen
The course is delivered on campus, using a blend of face-to-face theory and practical based training activities.<p>It should be noted as per Section 67 of the 2004 OHS Act all elected HSRs are entitled to undertake the WorkSafe Victoria approved OHS training for HSRs and choose their training course in consultation with their employer.<p>Although HSRs are the primary audience, managers, supervisors, health and safety committee members and anyone with an interest in health and safety may also benefit from attending this course.<p>As a Health and Safety Representative you have the right to choose the training provider you believe is best suited to your training needs.<p>Group bookings of 10 or more can be offered at your workplace location or at one of our other campuses. Please contact the Department to discuss.
