Overview

The Course Interagency Response to Safety on High Speed Roads provides training for first responders to safely work within the grey zone and in the dynamic and complex environment of high-speed roads in order to reduce the risk of secondary incidents.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must:<br>Be at least 16 years old<br>Be an emergency service operative<br>Have access to a PC, the Internet, and remote delivery software (e.g., WebEx)
Prior to enrolment you will be required to complete a pre-training review and may be asked to complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
