Studying the Essential Eight Essentials Course at Holmesglen gives participants practical, hands-on experience in strengthening cybersecurity capability using the Australian Signals Directorate’s Essential Eight Maturity Model. Entry Requirements

To be eligible, participants must:<br>• Be at least 17 years of age<br>• Be an Australian citizen<br>• Possess sufficient literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills to navigate and use the learning and assessment resources<br>• Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Information Technology (or higher), or have equivalent experience<p>Equivalent experience may include at least two years of industry experience in IT, GRC, cybersecurity, or a generalist management/administrative role that demonstrates the underpinning knowledge required for admission.

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
