Studying the Essential Eight Essentials Course at Holmesglen gives participants practical, hands-on experience in strengthening cybersecurity capability using the Australian Signals Directorate’s Essential Eight Maturity Model. Guided by experienced trainers with deep industry knowledge, you’ll learn how to assess cyber risks, apply mitigation strategies and configure key security controls using tools such as PowerShell, Windows policies, application hardening and Active Directory. The course combines clear explanations with lab-based exercises, real-world examples and supportive teaching to help you build confidence in implementing the Essential Eight within your organisation and improving overall cyber resilience.
