Overview
The Ethical Hacking Fundamentals course provides hands-on training in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and penetration testing. You’ll learn how to evaluate the security of systems, networks, and applications using real-world hacking tools and techniques applied legally and ethically. This ethical hacking certification course builds practical skills in identifying vulnerabilities and thinking like a hacker to better protect business-critical systems. Studying the Ethical Hacking Fundamentals at Holmesglen
At Holmesglen, you’ll learn practical skills in ethical hacking and penetration testing through hands-on cybersecurity training. This course teaches you how to find and fix security weaknesses in networks, systems, and applications using real hacking tools and proven methods all done ethically and legally. You will gain essential knowledge in network security, application security, vulnerability testing, cybersecurity operations, and risk management. With expert support, you’ll develop the mindset of an ethical hacker to protect important business systems. After completing the course, you’ll be ready to take the globally recognized CompTIA PenTest+ certification exam and launch your career as a cybersecurity professional, ethical hacker, or penetration tester.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible, students must be at least 17 years of age.<p>Recommended background although there are no mandatory prerequisites, this course is best suited for individuals who have:<br>• A CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent foundational knowledge<br>• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in IT security or a related field<br>This course aligns with the CompTIA PenTest+ certification and is designed as a follow-up to Security+. It is highly practical and technically focused.

<strong>Intake Dates and Times:</strong><br>• 29 July 2025 – 5.30pm to 9.30pm<br>• 28 October 2025 – 5.30pm to 9.30pm<p>You are required to complete ONE final theory exam to obtain a certificate of attendance.
Assessment
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
