The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) course is the first step in Cisco’s networking certification pathway. It introduces key networking concepts, including network architecture, IP addressing (IPv4 and IPv6), Ethernet technologies, and the role of routers and switches. You’ll gain hands-on experience building and configuring small Local Area Networks (LANs) and performing basic device setup. This practical, industry-recognised training is ideal for those starting a career in IT, computer networking, or network support. Delivered in partnership with the Cisco Networking Academy, the course prepares you for real-world networking environments.

Studying the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) at Holmesglen

In this CCNA course, you will learn how to build simple local area networks (LANs), configure routers, switches, and end devices, and apply IPv4 and IPv6 addressing schemes. You’ll develop problem-solving skills and learn network security best practices to manage and troubleshoot small networks effectively. The course is delivered by experienced trainers who provide practical, hands-on learning to prepare you for real-world IT challenges. Throughout your study, you will receive strong student support to help you succeed. This course is the first step in the CCNA certification pathway. After completing all three CCNA courses or having equivalent industry experience, and passing a final theory exam, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

To be eligible, students must be at least 17 years of age.
