Cilantro restaurant

Serving fresh and modern French cuisine

Located at our Moorabbin campus, Cilantro is one of our two hospitality training restaurants, and home to world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu Institute.

Patisserie and cuisine students create authentic French cuisine; combined with an exemplary service experience. The restaurant has a fully licensed bar with an extensive beverage list including cellar listed wines, beers, spirits, cocktails and mocktails.

CILANTRO SEAFOOD PLATTER LUNCH

Wednesday 1 May 

Cost: $40pp, Includeds oysters, king prawns, flounder, mussels, scallops, soft shell crab, octopus and more. Enjoy a range of sauces including mornay, Marie rose, tartare and mignonette plus delicious salad and vegetable sides.

Please note, places are limited so guests may be seated at shared tables to maximise capacity.

CILANTRO DINNER SPECIAL - FIVE COURSE DEGUSTATION DINNER

The Le Cordon Bleu Cuisine students are coming together with their Chef teachers and designing some special menus to both challenge themselves and delight our guests.  A five-course menu for all those 'foodies' out there, who like to try something out of the ordinary.  The menu also includes matched fine wines; selected by our wine studies teachers to complement your meal perfectly. 

Guests will be seated at shared tables to maximise our restaurant capacity.  Tables will be usually of 8-10 guests per table.

This menu may not suit some dietary preferences as it is a five-course set menu with no other choices available.

HIGH TEA AT CILANTRO

Our High Tea Lunch is a marvellous mix of individual savoury and sweet creations from our patisserie staff and students for a substantial lunch. There is a delicious variety of hot and cold savoury tartlets, pastries and finger sandwiches/rolls, followed by dessert items from scones, tartlets, pastries, and amazingly intricate desserts. Booking per table - up to 10 guests only.

  • Cost: $50pp, filter coffee & tea included (Espresso coffee, leaf teas, and all other drinks/beverages are extra).

Unfortunately, we cannot cater to coeliac, gluten-free, fructose-free, dairy-free, vegan, or diabetic diets.

Cilantro is located at the rear entrance of Building 4 at our Moorabbin campus (down the driveway and past the roundabout). It is also wheelchair accessible.

  • Parking: Pay and Display tickets at $6 flat rate per day.
  • People with Disabled permits do not need to pay for parking anywhere on campus regardless of whether or not they have parked in a disabled zone.

Cilantro has a seated capacity of up to 50 guests and 90 standing for a cocktail function.

Please inform us at the time of booking if anyone in your party has any food allergies or intolerances we should know about beforehand. We can accommodate most common dietary requests such as Pescatarian, Vegetarian and Coeliac meals.

Children's meals are available on request for $30 per person and include a main meal and dessert.
