Studying the Bachelor of Digital Construction and Management at Holmesglen

Based at our <a href="https://www.holmesglen.edu.au/about-us/campuses/chadstone">Chadstone campus</a>, studying at Holmesglen offers a future-focused, industry-aligned learning experience. Students develop strong foundations in digital technologies, problem solving, and knowledge management through hands-on learning, immersive simulations, and industry-based project work.<p>As studies progress, students collaborate across disciplines and engage with industry through site visits, guest lectures, and masterclasses, helping build the technical and professional skills required in modern construction and built environment workplaces.<p>Students have access to computer laboratories, wireless campus networks, <a href="https://www.holmesglen.edu.au/current-students/library">library services</a>, and industry-standard software used throughout the course, including Autodesk software, Autodesk Build, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, CostX, McNeel Rhinoceros, and One Click LCA.<p>Digital course delivery is supported through Holmesglen’s <a href="https://www.holmesglen.edu.au/current-students/course-resources/it-help-and-online-tools#accordion-a099c8bf38-item-2b760ff310">Brightspace learning management system</a>, providing access to learning resources, assessment submissions, discussions, databases, e-reserve resources, quizzes, and course announcements.

Entry Requirements

<strong>Recent Secondary Education (within the past two years)</strong><br>Applicants with recent secondary education are those whose eligibility is based on the completion of VCE (or equivalent) within the current year or the previous two years. <p>Prior to enrolment or commencement of this higher education program, learners must complete a literacy and numeracy assessment. This will assist in identifying any learning support needs. Applicants are required to attend an interview and provide certified copies of relevant qualifications.<p><strong>Vocational Education and Training (VET) Study</strong><br>Applicants who have completed an Australian VET Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from any Australian Registered Training Organisation will be considered for entry.<p>Applicants who have completed the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) and 22627VIC Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) may be eligible for advanced standing with credit. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the course leader. <p>Prior to enrolment or commencement of this higher education program, learners must complete a literacy and numeracy assessment. This will assist in identifying any learning support needs. Applicants are required to attend an interview and provide certified copies of relevant qualifications. Your entire academic record will be considered as part of selection considerations. <br>Advanced standing will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. <p><strong>Higher Education Study</strong><br>Applicants who have previously commenced or completed subjects within a higher education course, at a university or non university higher education provider, either recently or in the past, are encouraged to apply.Applicants transferring from another education provider, or those seeking to change to the Bachelor of Digital Construction and Management at Holmesglen, may apply for advanced standing. Applications are assessed on an individual basis, with credit granted for subjects where equivalency in content and learning outcomes can be demonstrated in relation to the degree.<p>Prior to enrolment or commencement of this higher education program, learners must complete a literacy and numeracy assessment. This will assist in identifying any learning support needs. Applicants are required to attend an interview and provide certified copies of relevant qualifications. Your entire academic record will be considered as part of selection considerations. <p><strong>Work and Life Experience</strong><br>Applicants with relevant work and life experience who completed secondary education more than two years prior to applying, and who have not undertaken VET or higher education study since, are encouraged to apply.<p>Relevant experience may include a combination of mature age entry, employment or professional experience, community involvement, or other life experiences that demonstrate a minimum of five years' work experience in the construction industry or a related occupation or the capacity to successfully undertake higher education. This may also include participation in non formal learning activities that support academic readiness or are relevant to the study of Bachelor of Digital Construction and Management<p>Prior to enrolment or commencement of this higher education program, learners must complete a literacy and numeracy assessment. This will assist in identifying any learning support needs. Applicants are required to attend an interview and provide certified copies of relevant qualifications.
