Studying the Certificate III in Carpentry at Holmesglen
At Holmesglen, you'll develop your carpentry skills through hands-on training in purpose-designed construction facilities and simulated work environments. Classroom theory is applied through practical activities, giving you opportunities to work on carpentry and construction projects using industry tools, equipment and techniques.<p>You'll be taught by experienced Holmesglen carpentry teachers who have worked in the building and construction industry, bringing practical trade knowledge into your training. As your skills develop, you'll progress from foundational carpentry activities to more complex framing, roofing, installation and finishing work.<p>Practical training is supported by teacher guidance and feedback, helping you develop the accuracy, safety awareness, problem-solving and practical skills required in carpentry and construction environments.
Entry Requirements
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen. Additional Course Cost
An additional administration fee may apply where the application is submitted directly to Holmesglen and not through a Holmesglen-approved education agent.
