The course typically combines theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training, allowing students to develop proficiency in various shopfitting techniques. Some of the key topics covered in the program include:<p>• Workplace safety<br>• Interpreting plans and specifications<br>• Use of tools and basic static machinery<br>• Computer Numerical Control Machines (CNC).<br>• Computer-aided production drawings (CAD).<br>• Installation of fixtures<br>• Effective communication<p>Throughout the course, students are likely to engage in practical exercises and workshops and gain hands-on experience in shopfitting processes, thereby developing problem-solving skills. They also learn about workplace safety practices, teamwork, and effective communication within the shopfitting industry.<p>Upon successful completion of the CPC30120 Certificate III in Shopfitting, graduates can pursue various career opportunities, such as carpenters and joiners, or they may choose to start their own shopfitting business.
