- Participants who successfully complete the unit can apply for credit in a number of qualifications in the resources and infrastructure industry training package.
Studying the Isolate and access plant at Holmesglen
The program includes :<br>- Interpreting the task instructions, SWMS and other documentation required for this work<br>- Working through isolation permit and isolation certificate procedures<br>- Working with permit issuer and other personnel relevant to the activities <br>- Using isolation techniques and devices <br>- Isolating and re-energising plant safely <p>The program and assessment cover the theoretical and safety knowledge that underpins these activities as well as well as opportunities to practice and demonstrate all the skills and required tasks.
Entry Requirements
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
