The Operate Elevated Work Platforms (up to 11m), is designed for all employees working in civil construction operating roles. It provides the skills and knowledge to competently and safely operate an elevated work platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.

Studying the Operate elevated work platforms (up to 11m) at Holmesglen

You'll be guided by experienced trainers offering hands-on training. Throughout the course, you'll learn how to effectively:<p>Plan and prepare for operating an elevated work platform<br>Safely operate the platform with competence to complete tasks<br>Carry out essential housekeeping activities.

Entry Requirements

• Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)<br>• At least 3 months work experience in civil construction or infrastructure industries<br>• Minimum 17 years of age or 12 months’ work experience
Prior to enrolment you will be required to complete a pre-training review and may be asked to complete a language, literacy and numeracy test. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course and identify any learning support needs.

Recognition of prior learning

You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training.
