At Holmesglen, the Certificate II in Plumbing offers a hands-on learning experience that builds practical plumbing skills in a supportive environment. The program focuses on kinesthetic and visual learning, helping students develop strong technical skills and industry knowledge. You’ll begin by learning essential tasks such as using plumbing tools, working with sheet metal and fabricating simple pipe systems. Learning is delivered through face-to-face classes and online resources via Holmesglen’s Learning Management System, Brightspace. Friendly, experienced teachers provide guidance in a simulated work environment that reflects real industry conditions, preparing you for a plumbing apprenticeship or entry-level role.
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
