Studying the Certificate III in Floristry at Holmesglen
Study the SFL30115 Certificate III in Floristry at Holmesglen's Glen Waverley campus, where you'll learn from qualified and experienced floristry teachers who provide practical guidance and support as you develop your technical and creative skills.<p>Floristry training at Holmesglen has a strong design focus, combining practical floristry techniques with creative activities such as drawing, visual display and event design. You'll have opportunities to develop and create floral designs while exploring how colour, form, texture and presentation are used in professional floristry.<p>You'll also be encouraged to participate in floristry competitions and industry events, with opportunities to contribute to Holmesglen's entry in the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. These experiences allow you to apply your skills to creative projects beyond the classroom and experience the broader floristry industry.
Entry Requirements
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
