Marilou Fisher

Marilou began her career as an administrator and has progressed to the role of Education Manager through dedication and hard work. Throughout her time at Holmesglen, she has shown unwavering commitment to the department and consistently supports her staff’s professional development and wellbeing.

With strong expertise in business processes, Marilou confidently leads her team through complex tasks. She not only keeps the team on track but actively motivates and inspires them to achieve their best, fostering a supportive and positive work environment.

Her coordination of initiatives such as SummerTech Live 2022–2023 and WorldSkills Competitions in 2023–2024 highlights her diverse skills and passion for education. Her collaborative spirit, resilience, and leadership continue to drive the department's ongoing success.

Matthew Paul

Faculty of Building, Construction, Design and Electrotechnology

Matthew is an outstanding leader within the Plumbing and Mechanical Services Department, earning the full support of the team for this nomination. His calm, approachable nature and consistent dedication make him the cornerstone of the department.

He excels at building strong connections with staff and students, creating a positive and collaborative environment. Whether managing complex projects or resolving conflicts, Matthew leads with empathy, clear communication, and a focus on outcomes, which has significantly strengthened team morale and cohesion.

One of Matthew’s most valued qualities is his ability to adapt resources, curricula, and approaches to suit the diverse needs of learners and staff. This flexibility has empowered many to thrive, making Matthew an invaluable asset and a truly deserving nominee.

A caring leader who willingly shares her extensive knowledge, Natalia is passionate about her role and fully committed to supporting her staff. She has built a high-performing team while fostering relationships with other departments and addressing challenges proactively.

Her leadership is characterised by her strong work ethic and remarkable ability to lead, troubleshoot, teach and nurture. Manager - Holmesglen Assist for Chadstone and Bourke Street campuses, she is known for promoting a strong culture of excellence and integrity.

Her strong communication skills, coupled with a strategic mindset, drive continuous improvement across projects. Committed to excellence, Natalia promotes a positive and student-focused environment, ensuring Holmesglen remains a leader in service and education.
