An accomplished education professional, Kim’s passion for digital learning and student-centred education enables her to enhance student experience while her work continues to influence and improve teaching practice across the Institute.
Through her work on the FutureReady project and her outstanding stakeholder relationships, Kim forged impactful partnerships with external organisations, including the Bachelor of Nursing fellowship with St Vincent’s Private Hospital.
Kim is widely recognised for her empathetic and supportive approach, particularly during our students’ final year of study. Her ability to foster collaboration and communication among staff and students has led to improved outcomes for the Institute.

Engagement and Support
The Information Systems Team including Lalama Yatawara, Jodi Breeden and Alexis Csanyi-Vo are recognised for their work integrating Holmesglen systems using application programming interfaces (API’s) during 2023 and 2024.
In addition to a high standard of technical work, their ability to collaborate with other departments and their collegiate approach is commended. The team has demonstrated the ability to identify pain points in systems and processes and recommend potential solutions.
The team’s initiatives have reduced administrative burden and empowered faculty and staff to make well-informed data-driven decisions.
Sarah McGoon
Faculty of Building, Construction, Design and Electrotechnology
Sarah’s expertise in educational administration and coordination is clearly demonstrated in her role as Course Administrator in the Electrical Department. As the first female coordinator in a traditionally male-dominated field, she has broken new ground with determination and outstanding interpersonal skills.
She has earned the respect of apprentices and trainers alike, navigating a complex, licensed trade environment with ease. Sarah coordinates relationships between students, staff, and employers with professionalism, ensuring smooth operations and strong engagement across the board.
Her ability to balance independent problem-solving with collaborative teamwork is evident in the improvements she has implemented. Sarah’s aspiration to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment reflects her strong commitment to personal and professional development.
