GRADUATION AND AWARDS

Higher Education Award

Celebrating the achievements of our valued students and staff.

Elliot Van Moorsel

Elliot’s confidence has grown through their journey from Certificate IV to the Bachelor of Fashion Design at Holmesglen. After a positive Open Day experience, they found a strong sense of belonging within the course’s small, close-knit cohort.

Their design work embodies passion for inclusivity and innovation, and they have pioneered garments that combine technical adjustability with a strong creative voice, addressing the needs of gender-fluid communities. Elliot is also a proud advocate for plus-sized fashion and hopes to launch their own brand.

Their commitment to the industry is further highlighted by volunteer roles at Melbourne Fashion Week and Melbourne Fashion Festival, culminating in an internship with the collections team in 2025.

Jasmine Dietzel

Jasmine transitioned into fashion after initially studying environmental science, bringing a thoughtful and determined approach to her creative work. Her designs, which incorporate social justice themes and circular design principles, exhibit her belief in the power of fashion as a platform for change.

Her ambition is reflected in her pursuit of industry experience and opportunities across diverse fashion settings, bringing valuable insights back to her own practice. She has showcased her designs at the Australian Fashion Awards in 2023 and at Melbourne Fashion Week in 2024 and 2025.

Jasmine’s ability to lead through creativity and advocacy makes her an outstanding role model for the next generation of designers.
